"Po-Po" Cites Man For Warning Motorists of Speed Trap

A North Texas man is trying to clear his name after he was arrested and cited for allegedly violating a city ordinance for holding a homemade sign warning drivers about speed traps.

Ron Martin, 33, was arrested last October after an officer saw him standing in the median on the Eldorado Parkway in Frisco holding a sign that read “Police ahead,” letting drivers know an officer was waiting at the opposite side of a nearby bridge.- –Fox News

Where was this dude two months ago, when I needed him on Florida’s Alligator Alley!?

According to cops, the man violated the city of Frisco’s “sign ordinance” for holding up the sign over his head, warning drivers that the “5-O” was just up the road writing speeding citations.

As ESPN’s Keyshawn Johnson would say, “C’mon Man!”

Here is a good question.

Is what this man did the equivalent of driving your car and warning on coming motorists of a speed trap, by flashing your headlights?
