A small group of anti-Israel demonstrators waved flags bearing the emblem of Hezbollah, the Lebanese terror organization, outside the Washington Conference Center yesterday, where the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the country’s most influential pro-Israel group, is holding its annual Policy Conference.
Other demonstrators included the anti-war group Code Pink, and activists from the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Hezbollah targeted Israeli civilians in the Second Lebanon War in 2006, and is propping up Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad in Syria’s civil war, which has claimed over 140,000 civilian lives.
