Ernst Targets Washington “Hogs” in Latest Ad

Iowa Republican and Senate candidate Joni Ernst initially burst onto the political scene with an ad entitled “Squeal,” that went viral given it’s theme: “Joni grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm, so in Washington, she’ll know how to cut pork!”

Now, in something of a closing act, she’s returned to the same feedlot where the previous ad was filmed and is out with a new one. This one is entitled “Lot.” See the ad below.

Filmed at the same lot in southwest Iowa with the same hogs that appeared in her viral “Squeal” ad from the spring, Ernst says to camera: “It’s a mess. Dirty, noisy, and it stinks. Not this lot — I’m talking about the one in Washington. Too many typical politicians, hogging, wasting and full of …”

In the end, Ernst touts “Iowa common sense” as what’s needed to clean up Washington.
