‘Fuse Burning,’ Tension Between Boehner and House Conservatives Grows Over Planned Parenthood

Even after the release of a tenth video further exposing Planned Parenthood’s booming business in the sale of aborted baby parts, House Republican leaders who claim to be horrified at the abortion giant’s practices are still hesitant to eliminate its federal funding from a temporary spending bill for fear of being blamed by Democrats and the liberal media for a government shutdown.

‘Everything We Provide is Fresh,’ Planned Parenthood Leader Tells Undercover Camera

As members of Congress consider whether to defund Planned Parenthood, a new video highlights the abortion provider’s booming business in baby organs.

“We’ve just been working with people who want particular tissues, like, you know, they want cardiac, or they want eyes, or they want neural,” Dr. Carolyn Westhoff, Senior Medical Advisor for Planned Parenthood for America tells a hidden camera. “Certainly, everything we provide–oh, gonads! Oh my God, gonads. Everything we provide is fresh.”

Echoing McConnell’s words, the Ohio Governor said in New Hampshire Saturday and then argued on Fox News Sunday, that President Obama would veto any spending bill that transfers funds from Planned Parenthood to women’s healthcare facilities that do not perform abortions. Kasich warns that could make Republicans vulnerable if the government subsequently shuts down.

House Freedom Caucus: ‘We Oppose Any Spending Measure’ That Funds Planned Parenthood

The House Freedom Caucus affirms that its members oppose “any spending measure that contains funding for Planned Parenthood.” The statement comes as Republican leaders, hoping to avert a government shutdown, are facing strong opposition from House conservatives refusing to approve a budget that includes funding for the abortion giant. Planned Parenthood is currently under investigation by at least three congressional committees following the release of videos exposing its practices of harvesting the body parts of aborted babies for sale on the open market.

A condensed, edited excerpt from “No Fear: Real Stories of a Courageous New Generation Standing for Truth” by Tony Perkins in which he includes the story of a young woman named Lila Rose who—long before the more recent video exposes of Planned Parenthood—made her own foray into the inner world of this organization and discovered what was really going on.

Workers at a Planned Parenthood clinic hang a banner to announce the opening of the facility October 2, 2007 in Aurora, Illinois. The clinic, reported to be the largest Planned Parenthood clinic in the country, was scheduled to open last month but the opening was held up by last minute legal challenges.

Planned Parenthood Clinic Moving Next Door To Charter School

A Washington Post article about the relocation of Planned Parenthood’s new flagship abortion clinic next door to Two Rivers Public Charter School indicates the school’s executive director appears concerned about the images of aborted babies her students could see on the signs of pro-life protesters. But no mention is made about concerns of the abortions going on inside.

The Pope, The Pro-Aborts in Congress, and the Pro-life Movement

Just days before the publication of my book, Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro published yet another letter, signed by even more of her colleagues, and addressed this time to the Holy Father, in anticipation of his September 24 speech to Congress. In a profoundly hollow and self-contradictory fashion, she praises the Pope’s “solidarity with the poor and the marginalized,” and then goes on to urge him to address a litany of social problems, with no mention at all about the violence of abortion.
