Jindal Announces Planned Parenthood Investigation, Halts Licenses for New Abortion Clinic

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announced Tuesday he is directing his state’s Department of Health and Hospitals to launch an investigation into Planned Parenthood. This comes on the heels of the release of an investigative video by pro-life group Center for Medical Progress depicting the abortion giant’s chief medical officer speaking about how to abort a baby intact to harvest its body parts for sale.

Workers at a Planned Parenthood clinic hang a banner to announce the opening of the facility October 2, 2007 in Aurora, Illinois. The clinic, reported to be the largest Planned Parenthood clinic in the country, was scheduled to open last month but the opening was held up by last minute legal challenges.

Planned Parenthood Denies Trafficking in Body Parts for Profit

Secretly recorded, Dr. Deborah Nucatola said there is a range of pricing for aborted body parts including hearts, livers and “lower extremities.” She described how abortionists can manipulate the live baby so her head comes from the birth canal last in order to preserve the internal organs.

‘Evil,’ ‘Indefensible,’ ‘Final Nail in Coffin,’ ‘Stomach Churning,’ Say Pro-Life House Member, Groups on Planned Parenthood Baby Parts for Sale

“The fact that Planned Parenthood performs upwards of 327,000 abortions a year is heartbreaking and barbaric enough on its own,” Rep. Diane Black said in a statement to Breitbart News. “The news that its employees engaged in the selling of aborted babies’ body parts is almost too much to bear and shows that Planned Parenthood’s disregard for innocent human life was even worse than we imagined.”

Cutting Title X Still Leaves Planned Parenthood Fat on the Public Teat

A March report issued by the U.S. Government Accountability Office shows the overwhelming amount of government funds for Planned Parenthood comes not from Title X but from Medicaid, which would be untouched by the budget proposal. According to Planned Parenthood annual report, in fiscal year 2011-2012, the group received $542 million in federal money. According to the GAO report, $400 million of that was from Medicaid.

Though the Republican Party claims to be the “pro-life” party, Politico reported Kirk, Collins, and Murkowski slithered up to pro-abortion Democrats to approve an amendment to the State Department appropriations bill that would permanently lift the restriction on funding organizations that provide abortions – one that President Ronald Reagan’s administration put in place.

According to a press release containing some of Jindal’s prepared remarks, the Republican governor of Louisiana – which has been named as the most pro-life state in the nation – will blast the Republican Party “smart guys” for failing to adhere to a commitment to pro-life policies, portraying the pro-life base, instead, as a “distraction.”

The Obergefell Decision is a Dead-End for America

For millennia, the church – and many others too – have been holding up the signs saying that abortion is a dead-end. Those individuals, families, and nations that have ignored these signs are now reaping the fruit of the bitter experience that abortion does not solve any problems but only creates new ones. I am convinced that the dead end rule will determine the fate of gay marriage in America.

Planned Parenthood Celebrates SCOTUS Obamacare Subsidy Victory

Planned Parenthood has benefited tremendously from Obamacare, a fact acknowledged by both its president Cecile Richards and chair Alexis McGill Johnson in the organization’s 2013-2014 annual report. In fiscal year 2013-2014, Planned Parenthood was provided with more than $528 million – or 41 percent of its total revenue – in taxpayer funds in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements.
