McCain to join talk show in first post-defeat interview
John McCain, the defeated Republican presidential contender, will give his first post-election interview next week as a guest on Jay Leno's late-night talk show, NBC television said Friday.

Vietnam veteran McCain has been invited to appear Tuesday in honor of the Veterans Day holiday, said NBC, the network hosting Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show."
McCain, defeated decisively by Barack Obama in the November 4 election, is no stranger to the show, or its other comedy rivals, which played a prominent role in shaping public opinion during the campaign.
In August, McCain took a ribbing from Leno over his apparent inability to recall exactly how many houses he and his wife, beer heiress Cindy McCain, own.
