Man Shot at Las Vegas Airport Checkpoint
LAS VEGAS (AP) - A man was shot and wounded by police at McCarran International Airport
on Tuesday after he pulled a knife on a child, police and airport
officials said.

Las Vegas police spokesman Jose Montoya said two officers were involved in the shooting, which occurred after the man had crossed through a security checkpoint.
