MOSCOW (AP) - A Russian passenger jet with 170 people on board crashed in Ukraine on
Tuesday. The Russian emergencies ministry confirmed that wreckage from
the plane was found in Ukraine.
The plane, on its way from the Black Sea resort of Anapa to St.
Petersburg, disappeared from radar screens after sending a distress
signal, Emergency Situations Ministry spokeswoman Yulia Stadnikova
said.
