Exit Poll: Clinton Holds Whites in Ohio

WASHINGTON (AP) - Early results from exit polls of Ohio Democratic voters show that Hillary Rodham Clinton is getting strong backing from whites and blue- collar workers who have been the heart of her support so far this year.

The New York senator is so far winning the votes of two in three white women and nearly six in 10 white men.

She's also backed by most of those with no more than high school diplomas, and people earning less than $50,000 a year.

Rival Barack Obama is holding onto groups that have supported him from early on, including blacks, young people and college graduates.

Among Republicans, John McCain is being backed by most conservatives.
