WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says his administration is committed to working with Congress to pass a comprehensive immigration reform.

Obama discussed immigration with members from both political parties at the White House on Thursday. He says there still are differences on how to implement changes, but said all sides agree that the current system is broken "and needs fixing."

Obama says any overhaul must focus on tightening borders and clarifying the status of the country's 12 million illegal immigrants.
