TOKYO, Nov. 4 (AP) - (Kyodo)—The winner of a title match between WBC flyweight champion Daisuke Naito and challenger Koki Kameda will take on WBC flyweight interim champion Pongsaklek Wonjogkam in a unification title bout, it was decided at the WBC's general convention in Jeju, South Korea, on Wednesday.

Also according to Reuters news agency, WBC council chairman Jose Sulaiman said he wants to prohibit fathers from working their son's corners after studies showed it proves fatal in the ring.

"A father is not detached enough to make the right decision, because he's looking at what he loves and maybe not seeing what's really going on," Art Pelullo, president of Banner Promotions, was quoted as saying.

Shiro Kameda, who had his corner's license suspended after encouraging his son Daiki to fight dirty in a WBC flyweight bout against Naito in October 2007, is requesting that his punishment be lifted.

The fight between Naito and Koki Kameda, for which a date and venue have not yet been scheduled, is being billed as an epic showdown after the champion defeated Daiki in a landslide in a wild affair in defense of his WBC crown.
