Baseball: Giants down Fighters in Game 6 to win Japan Series+
SAPPORO, Nov. 7 (AP) - (Kyodo)—The Yomiuri Giants beat the Nippon Ham Fighters 2-0 in Game 6 Saturday to claim their first Japan Series title in seven years.
The Giants won the best-of-seven series four games to two and were crowned champions for the 21st time. Nippon Ham was seeking its first title since 2006.
