Wireless Broadband Service Provider Extends Broadband Network With Ceragon's Cost-Efficient FibeAir(R) IP Solutions Family in a Deal Valued Over $1 Million

TEL AVIV, Israel, May 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ and TASE: CRNT), a leading provider of high-capacity, LTE-Ready wireless backhaul solutions, today announced that its advanced FibeAir(R) IP solutions are deployed by Stelera Wireless, a pure-play (data only) wireless broadband services provider headquartered in Oklahoma City. Utilizing Ceragon's solutions, Strelera is building out a high-capacity wireless backbone that would serve to bring the benefit of broadband internet access to underserved communities in rural America. Initial equipment orders are valued at over $1 million.

Stelera brings advanced high-speed internet access services to rural America using HSPA (high-speed packet access) technology. The company holds licenses for spectrum covering a population of 6 million people, in ten states and over 300 cities. Stelera plans to offer service to 55 of these cities by the end of 2009, bridging the digital divide to the benefit of businesses and homes throughout rural America, with additional build out of its network in 2010.
