NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation's Los Angeles branch office recently announced its participation in a new program that will promote the safety and security of students around the University of Southern California campus. Working in conjunction with the USC Department of Public Safety and the Los Angeles Police Department, CSC will be providing an additional layer of security in the housing community north of the main campus between 12 p.m. and 4 a.m., 7 days a week.

Targeted for implementation before the students return for their fall semester, the goal of this plan is to strategically position CSC's security staff in order to provide a visual presence that will promote the security of students around the housing community located north of the main campus. This highly anticipated program will continue throughout the academic year and is supported by USC's Chief of Department of Public Safety, Carey Drayton, and the Associate Senior Vice President of Career and Protective Services, Dr. Charles Lane.
