LAGUNA BEACH, Calif., April 22 (UPI) --
Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was charged Tuesday with drunken driving, Laguna Beach, Calif., police announced.
The 48-year-old rock star was not charged with child endangerment even though his 10-year-old daughter and her 15-year-old cousin were in his Hummer when he was pulled over by police on March 25, People magazine reported.
Sambora's blood alcohol level was .13, well over the legal limit of 0.8, a police source said. Sambora was charged with two misdemeanors, E! Online reported, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol limit over the legal limit.
The former husband of actress Heather Locklear faces six months in jail if convicted. His arraignment was set for May 7.
