NEW YORK, May 30 (UPI) -- U.S. fashion designer Patricia Field and Payless ShoeSource have announced they have created a line of shoes and clutch bags priced under $35.

Field was the stylist for the "Sex and the City" movie, as well as the iconic TV show on which it is based.

Her collection of shoes and coordinating bags is available this week in select stores and at Payless.com for $25 to $35 an item.

The Patricia Field for Payless Summer Collection is Field's second capsule collection for the retailer. Her first collection debuted for the 2007 holiday season and was centered around the Payless shoes Field designed and wore on the red carpet at the 2007 Oscars for her nomination for costume design on "The Devil Wears Prada."

"For my second collection for Payless I was inspired to continue the strong metallic theme, layering on bright colors including electric blue, sleek silver and sunny gold with sparkle and high-shine detailing," Field said in a statement. "I love what Payless is doing to make fashion democratic, and I am excited to be a part of that movement."
