Former KKK Grand Dragon to be Tried for Capital Murder in Kansas

A Kansas judge ruled that a former grand dragon of the Ku Klux Klan will stand trial for capital murder in the alleged killings of three people. The victims were shot in the parking lot of a Jewish community center and assisted-living facility nearly one-year ago. The former KKK grand dragon was convinced he was dying at the time and wanted “to make damned sure I killed some Jews or attacked the Jews before I died,” according to a statement he made to the Kansas City Star.

For the second time in as many polls, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) leads the pack among Texas Republican voters as their top choice among potential 2016 presidential candidates, but just barely. Cruz has dropped back from twenty-seven percent to twenty percent but still maintained his lead. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker jumped from two percent of the vote in an October, 2014 poll to nineteen percent in Tuesday’s University of Texas/Texas Tribune Poll. Perry’s support has been cut in half – down from fourteen to seven percent.

Guns Across America Austin Rally: Gun Rights are not About Guns, They are About Liberty

About two hundred gun rights activists gathered on the south steps of the Texas Capitol to show support for expanding gun rights in Texas on Saturday. While much of the talk was about gun rights, many of the speakers used the word that Governor Greg Abbott used in his State of the State address this week when he said, “Let me briefly follow up on a word I mentioned a moment ago – liberty. Hundreds Protest Police Shooting of Violent Illegal Immigrant (Graphic Video)

Several hundred people took to the streets to protest the shooting by Pasco, Washington, police of Antonio Zambrano-Montes. Zambrano was an illegal alien who had previously served jail time for assaulting police. On February 10, Pasco police responded to a call about a man throwing large rocks at cars. After he allegedly threw two large rocks at police, they fired at Zambrano and he fled across the street. As police pursued he abruptly stopped and turned towards police with his hands extended towards them. He then reached towards his waistband and re-extended his arms towards the officers. Officers then fired several shots killing the suspect.
