
The investigation by the Travis County District Attorney’s Office into alleged misconduct by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has been closed with no charges being filed. Allegations were made against Paxton while he was a State Senator and was running for the Attorney General position he won in the November election. Paxton paid a civil fine of $1,000 after he acknowledged he had failed to properly file registration papers with the State Securities Board.

Christopher Longoria, 27, was reportedly circling the Porter, Texas, Walmart in an SUV and was seen wearing a camouflaged jacket and body armor.

Texas Rangers are investigating the police shooting of a 17-year-old girl in East Texas. Three officers of the Longview Police Department were called to the lobby of the police station where they were confronted by Kristiana Coignard. She was allegedly brandishing a weapon and police shot and fatally wounded her.

A Katy, Texas, junior high school principal was reinstated after being put on administrative leave earlier this month. Katy Independent School District (ISD) officials would not confirm the reason for the punishment. Parents believe Seven Lakes Junior High School Principal Dr. Imelda Medrano (on right in the photo above) was placed on administrative leave because she sent out a newsletter with a warning to parents. The newsletter linked to a Christian parenting website.

An El Paso federal court jury convicted an El Paso County Probation Officer and three other Folk Nation/Gangster Disciples on charges of trafficking a minor female in a sex trafficking case. The men were charged with forcing a 16-year-old girl into prostitution where she was forced to have sex for money with as many as six men per day.
