Turkey Threatens to Shoot Down Planes That Violate Its Airspace

On Friday, Turkey shot down a drone aircraft that violated its airspace. U.S. officials believe it was a Russian drone, although the Russians deny losing any of their equipment. Saturday brought a warning from Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu that his country is prepared to fire on manned aircraft, as well.

Democrats: Global Warming Causes Everything From Wildfires to the Syrian War

The volume of lunacy pouring from the global-warming movement has steadily increased as science fails them more decisively. The old mythology about human industry boiling the planet is deader than a doornail, buried under a mountain of data that warmists must carefully edit and distort to cook up their perennial “warmest month EVER!” headline bait.

Syria Meltdown: Turkey Threatens Attacks on U.S.-Backed Kurds

Turkey has grown increasingly vocal, and even belligerent, in criticizing the Kurds and U.S. military support for their cause in Syria and Iraq. The situation took a disturbing turn when Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu threatened to attack Kurdish fighters in Syria, if they are found to be passing American weapons back to Kurdish insurgents in Syria.

Re-Defining Left and Right in the 2016 Election

The dominant media culture loves to define everything it doesn’t like as “right-wing,” from milquetoast center-right U.S. politicians to North Korea. Somehow people who aggressively make the case that American government is too large get sorted into the same end of the political spectrum as the biggest and most oppressive governments of all. Certain out-and-proud socialists of the past century are caricatured as “right-wing,” even though they put “socialist” right in their Party name.

Donald Trump vs. Ben Carson: Energy vs. Ideology

The intriguing similarity between Donald Trump and Ben Carson is that both continually defy conventional wisdom and flourish despite coordinated media/Democrat attacks. That’s partially because so many voters have come to despise the corrupt system, and they’re weary of hyper-sensitive freakout-prone popular culture.

FBI Agents Angered By Obama’s Attempt to Influence Hillary Clinton Investigation

If we weren’t so numb to lawlessness and politicized bureaucracy from seven years of Obama scandals, this would be a national outrage. The President just tried to influence the outcome of a criminal investigation, on behalf of a powerful Democrat politician. Of course, he loves to insert himself into politically useful criminal matters, while having nothing to say about politically damaging ones, such as sanctuary-city murders by illegal aliens.

Democrats and Their Multiplying Enemies

My, but those Democrat candidates sure do have a lot of enemies! And they’re all law-abiding American citizens. The Party of Hate was in rare form during its Tuesday night debate. Everything they said was designed to split Americans into warring camps. Democrat voters were invited to embrace their victimhood, nourish their resentments, and vote for the candidate who promised to make other Americans suffer the most.

Ben Carson’s Book Tour Threatens to End Civilization As We Know It

Ben Carson is going to suspend his presidential campaign for two weeks to hawk his book! This is unprecedented! It shows he’s not serious about running for president! It proves he doesn’t understand anything about how politics works! It’s the end of the world as we know it, and nobody feels fine!

Governments Go Low-Tech to Relieve Cyber-War Anxiety

It feels as if the Information Age is trembling on the verge of some catastrophe that will make us rethink the way everything has been restructured to incorporate high-speed Internet access. Perhaps that process has already begun, with the high-profile hacking incidents which have dominated headlines over the past few years.

Trump Warns Of Stock Market Bubble, Looming Recession

In an interview with The Hill, Donald Trump warned of a stock market bubble on the verge of bursting, and slammed the Dodd-Frank financial regulations, which were roundly praised by the 2016 Democrats during their first primary debate on Tuesday night. Trump called Dodd-Frank “terrible” and said he would “absolutely” repeal it as President.

ISIS Confirms Second-in-Command Killed In U.S. Air Strike

The Islamic State has confirmed the Pentagon’s August claim that it killed ISIS’ deputy commander, Abu Mutaz al-Qurashi. “America is rejoicing over the killing of Abu Mutaz al-Qurashi and considers this a great victory,” a spokesman for the Islamic State named Abu Mohamed al-Adnani declared, in an audio recording posted to Islamist websites, as reported by AFP.

Democrat Debate: Behold the Glory of the Church of the State

All within the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State – Benito Mussolini. I challenge all comers to argue that any of the Democrats on stage Tuesday night disagree with that statement. All we heard about from these people was the towering glory of government. To them, the private sector is a tiny vestigial organ in the American body, existing only to pump fresh blood into the mighty State from which all good things flow.

Hillary Clinton: Post-Qaddafi Libya Disaster Is ‘Smart Power At Its Best’

During the course of the Democratic Party debate on Tuesday night, Hillary Clinton was asked to defend her disastrous intervention in Libya. In response, Clinton hailed Libya as “smart power at its best,” capturing a delusion that appears to be very common in the current iteration of her Party: the belief that magical “coalitions” of good guys can be whistled into existence to handle foreign-policy crises.

Egyptian TV Anchor Mistakes Video Game for Russian Gun Camera Footage

It’s not easy to find anything to laugh about in Syria, but Egyptian TV host Ahmed Moussa managed to pull it off. He used a recent show to sing the praises of Russian intervention in Syria, but illustrated it with footage that came from a five-year-old video game. And not a very good video game, by the look of it.

Poll: Americans Think Obama Is Losing the War on Terror

A new Rasmussen poll says “more voters than ever think terrorists have the advantage over the United States and its allies.” 46% of 1,000 likely voters responding to the poll thought terrorists were winning, while only 26% believed the United States and its allies had the upper hand. Those are the worst numbers Rasmussen has seen in over a decade.
