President Obama and the First Lady are beginning a new round of fundraising events, including a lunch with two of his richest backers at the W Hotel in Washington, D.C. It only costs $35,800 to get into that one.
If that’s too rich for your blood, you can always get into the “Family Game Night” at a bowling alley in New York. It costs $150 to get in, but another $100 to bowl. If you want to bowl and take a picture with the president, that’ll be $5,000. So, this is the middle class event.
After that, Michelle will go to a “star-studded cocktail reception” put on by the De Niro family, as well as Hollywood bigwigs including Whoopi “Rape-Rape” Goldberg. That event is a mere $5,000 for a picture with Obama and a drink; it costs $25,000 to “mingle” with the First Lady.
This is the First Family of the people, isn’t it?
