The Real War On Women: New Job Numbers Disastrous For Women

The new job numbers out this morning spell disaster for women and showcase the real war on women

The number of women unemployed in June was 5,785,000, an increase of 780,000 from when Barack Obama was inaugurated in January 2009 – at that time, the number of unemployed women in the United States was 5,005,000.

The BLS data also show that the unemployment rate for women in June was 8.0 percent, up from 7.9 percent in May. That’s also up from 7.0 percent in January 2009 when Obama became president.

Obama has faced a downward trend in the polls with women for months now and a dip in confidence with working women.

Anticipating bad numbers this morning, Democrats earlier this week tried to shift the narrative to Romney’s Swiss bank account, which was destroyed last night. Behold, the scariest jobs chart you have ever seen. As Joe Biden would say, it’s a “BFD.”
