Thirty percent of American adults owe more money than they did a year ago, a Rasmussen Reports national survey found.
Rasmussen Reports asked 1,000 adults via telephone on July 8-9, “Do you owe more money, less money or about the same amount as you did a year ago?”
Thirty-eight percent of those surveyed said their level of debt was about the the same and but nearly half of young Americans currently have more debt than last year.
