#War: Method to Madness

#War: Method to Madness

Note from Senior Management:

Andrew Breitbart is, and always will be irreplaceable. But he left behind a legacy that continues to inspire, and a road map for anybody willing to seek out the truth. In honor of Andrew, we are proud to present a brand new weekly feature entitled #WAR, where we will choose a video that reminds us all of the unique and powerful way in which he chose to fight for all that he believed, in an effort to level the playing field such that more voices could be heard.

Method to Madness

“Andrew Breitbart has lost it.”

“He’s become unhinged.”

“He’s out of control.”

That’s how the left tried to paint him the moment the following footage hit the web in February of 2012. The event was CPAC.  While most were inside enjoying fine speeches given by fine people, Andrew Breitbart was outside, wading into a sea of Occupy protestors, with the intent of delivering a message to a movement that troubled him terribly…a movement manufactured by the left to pit Americans against Americans.  What was Andrew’s message?  Simple:  Behave yourself.  Why was he screaming?  Simple: Everybody paying attention?  Good.  Roll cameras.  Now the real message:  Stop raping peopleStop raping people. Stop raping people.

As it turns out, this was never a message designed to change the hearts and minds of the Occupiers.  Most of them didn’t even know why they were there. This was a message designed to reach the mainstream media who in typical fashion, had failed to cover documented rapes that Occurred throughout the Occupy movement.  The reactionary left salivated:

“Andrew Breitbart has lost it.”

“He’s become unhinged.”

“He’s out of control.”

They showed the footage over and over again to point out a crazed Andrew Breitbart.  What they didn’t realize is the more they showed him screaming “stop raping people, stop raping people,” the more power they gave him and subsequently the brighter the light he was able to shine.  By zeroing in on Andrew personally, as he knew they would, they unintentionally delivered the message for him.

And in the week that followed, the rapes occurring at Occupy infiltrated the news cycle of the mainstream media and were brought to national attention.

**Note:  This footage was also incorporated into one of the more powerful sequences in the upcoming feature length documentary “Occupy Unmasked” directed by Stephen K. Bannon.

The film will be screening Thursday at the Republican National Convention with a theatrical release set for September 21, 2012 through Mark Cuban’s Magnet Releasing.
