Isaac Storm Declared Hurricane as it Targets New Orleans

Washington, August 28 (QNA) – Isaac has officially become a hurricane, churning towards New Orleans on Tuesday with winds of up to 120 kilometers an hour, the National Hurricane Center said.

The center declared that the tropical storm has strengthened to a category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson wind scale. (QNA)
