Freezing Temperatures to Hit NY, NJ

With eight million people out of power on the East Coast and Mayor Bloomberg and Gov. Chris Christie busy organizing marathons and cuddling with President Obama over global warming, the weather has turned nasty in New York and New Jersey. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 30s tonight, and weather outlets are reporting that a winter storm is on the way.

“We just want to get heat so we can survive at night,” an Essex Falls, NJ woman told NBC. “It’s so cold out.” Winds could blow at up to 45 miles per hour, with rain and snow expected.
