Donald Trump took to Twitter on Thursday to go after embattled Republican politico Karl Rove. “Karl Rove’s strategy and commercials were the worst I have ever seen,” Trump wrote. “Karl Rove is a total loser. Money given to him might as well be thrown down the drain.”
Rove has been under scrutiny since a New York Times article on Saturday in which Rove announced his intent to have the Conservative Victory Project protect incumbent Republicans against Tea Party challengers. Rove and Trump have a long and colorful history – in 2011, Rove smacked Trump for supposedly grandstanding during the presidential race.
