Boston Bombers Spare Carjacking Victim Because He 'Wasn't American'

Pete Williams of NBC News revealed that the network has been emailing a man who claims the Boston Marathon Bombers carjacked his SUV but spared his life because he “wasn’t American.” The victim called the alleged bombers, “brutal but cautious.” Williams said that the victim claimed he heard the brothers use the word “Manhattan.”

The Wall Street Journal culled this from the Cambridge, Mass. Police report:

One of the brothers jumped out of a Honda Civic and reached in through the front passenger side window of the SUV, opened the door and pointed a silver colored semi-automatic pistol at the driver… Inside the car, the brothers declared to [the victim] that they were the Boston Marathon bombers.
