During an April 21 appearance on Face The Nation, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani said “whether we want to call this a War on Terror, they call this a war on us.”
Speaking specifically of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, he said: “These two men joined a war. If you look at their website, they’re talking about jihad, they’re talking about war, so they are at war against us.”
Giuliani said Americans are going to have to open their eyes to reality.
He said a step toward doing this is to “reclassify” the 2009 Ft. Hood shooting as a “terrorism attack.” He said that not doing so “is harmful in the effort,” and feeds a “political correctness” that keeps us from analyzing things effectively.
