Joe Biden: U.S. Would Be 'Safer,' 'Happier' if Bullets Were Chocolate

Vice President Joe Biden wishes firearms could be safer–and more delicious, to boot.

A Milwaukee 7-year old wrote Vice President Joe Biden a letter suggesting someone make the world safer by creating “guns that shoot chocolate bullets.” Biden sent a letter in response saying guns that shoot chocolate would not only make people “safer” but “happier” as well.

The Green Bay Press Gazette reported that the student, “Myles,” had written Biden a few months ago to say “if we had chocolate bullets, nobody would get hurt and nobody would be sad.”

Biden’s response was dated April 30, 13:

Dear Myles,

I am sorry it took my so very long to respond to you letter. I really like your idea. If we had guns that shot chocolate, not only would our country be safer, it would be happier. People love chocolate.

You are good boy,

Joe Biden

The reading specialist at the child’s school said Myles’ letter about chocolate bullets brought her to the edge of tears because the 7-year old was “so insightful.”
