There are a number of women who are into Anthony Weiner. A fundraiser hosted by “Women for Anthony” is scheduled for next week in Manhattan. What is becoming abundantly clear is that Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, best known for her work under Hillary Clinton, is a central figure among the staff Weiner intends to use in his run for the mayoralty of New York City.
The host committee reads like a list of Clintonistas, it includes:
Huma Abedin and her sister Heba
Cheryl Saban, wife of Haim Saban, who financed a short film lauding Hillary Clinton’s State Department career
Elaine Schuster, philanthropist and Clinton supporter
Kirkland & Ellis lawyer Binta Brown, also a Clinton backer.
Weiner admitted that Abedin will join him campaigning soon.
