Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday said Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was right to filibuster the Senate over the White House’s unanswered questions about its domestic use of drones.
Speaking to Fox News’s Eric Bolling, Palin said it was “very disturbing” that FBI Director Robert Mueller admitted this week the FBI uses drones to target Americans for surveillance purposes.
Palin alleged even though Mueller said the FBI uses drones in a “minimal way,” he was still, in essence, saying, “we’re going to shoot you down just a little bit” on American soil.
She said the Kentucky Tea Party darling was asking “unanswered questions” about the “domestic use of drones and the impact on the American public and what was going on and what was actually happening.”
Palin asserted even though the White House and Senators “chided and ridiculed” Paul, he was “asking the right questions,” and “we are finally getting answers” about the administration’s use of drones on American soil thanks to his diligence.
