100 Attend 'Justice For Trayvon' Rally In Hartford

About 100 people rallied in front of the Ribicoff Federal Building on Main Street in Hartford Saturday in memory of Trayvon Martin and to protest Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law, reports CBS News.

The event was one of about 100 rallies organized by Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.

Ngnoc Pham of Hartford coordinated the rally.

“I’m a mom,” Pham said. “At the end of the day, I’m not part of any organization. I was overwhelmed with the injustice for this and I want legislators to repeal the Stand Your Ground law.”
