Brother of Dem Hopeful Castro Attacks Cruz

Rep. Joaquín Castro (D-Texas) the brother of Julian Castro is now an attack dog for the Obama Administration’s war on Sen. Ted Cruz. Castro is the mayor of San Antonio whom the Democratic Party is pushing as a future Barack Obama. Castro said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Cruz’s fight against ObamaCare proves he can never be president. Castro said:

I think what became clear this week is that he can’t be president and the reason is nobody will follow him — even people within his own party won’t follow him.  And so I think in terms of his long-term prospects it was fairly damaging. I think that he wanted to make a big splash and he certainly has. But he is doing something that I think is unusual, which is that he has made Washington worse. He has made the polarization worse.

Castro had tweeted during Cruz’s floor speech last Tuesday, “Ted Cruz said he would go to Washington and change Washington.  He has — he’s made it worse.”
