Investigators are searching for a man who sadistically attacked an innocent victim by sucker punching him in the side of the head. The latest rendition of the “knockout game,” where predominantly African American teenage perpetrators punch unsuspecting people, was “played” on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
A surveillance video captured the assailant creep behind a couple walking down Massachusetts Avenue and deliver the vicious blow. The victim staggered after being punched, and both he and the woman with him fell to the ground. The couple sustained minor injuries.
Cambridge Police said the alleged suspect punched another man in the face earlier in the day. They are continuing to investigate the suspect.
Last week, a disabled Army veteran was assaulted in another knockout game attack in Cleveland.
