Homeowner Shoots Burglary Suspects Crashing Through His Garage Door

On February 17, a San Antonio homeowner pulled his handgun and shot two of three burglary suspects as they drove a car through his garage door.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, a homeowner returning to his house was given pause on Monday night as he opened his front door and heard a commotion inside. He stepped back on his porch to assess what was happening, at which time “he heard a car start” and then “a red sedan carrying three people burst through the garage door.” 

The homeowner drew his handgun and fired an unknown number of shots at the sedan, striking two of three suspects inside.

All three suspects are expected to “face burglary charges.” 

Police records indicate “a burglary was reported at the same address just two months ago.”
