Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), a potential 2016 presidential candidate, will speak in South Carolina on Tuesday at The Citadel in Charleston.
He will speak at an annual awards dinner for the Free Enterprise Foundation, which is based at The Citadel, according to press reports.
This is Cruz’s third visit to the Palmetto State, which is arguably the most important early primary state.
Cruz met with Evangelical leaders in Columbia and also headlined the state GOP’s Silver Elephant dinner last year honoring former Sen. Jim DeMint.
