In the early morning hours of April 29th, a gunman opened fire in a FedEx facility outside of the Atlanta, Georgia. Six people were wounded, but only the gunman himself was killed.
According to ABC 15, police officers are taking all precautions and are still “sweeping the area to confirm that there are no additional threats.”
Among the victims, one is in critical condition and one is currently in surgery.
Police were called to the scene about 5:54 AM.
The shooter died from “an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.” No motive or other details are known at this time.
