NBC News is reporting the gunman at the FedEx facility outside Atlanta used a shotgun to carry out an April 29th attack that wounded six people and resulted in his own death.
Although the gunman’s identity has not been released, Cobb County Police Sgt. Dana Pierce says he was a “package handler and sorter.”
According to NBC News, “police found his body in a loading bay with a shotgun.”
The Associated Press reports he “had bullets strapped across his chest like Rambo.” These would have been shotgun shells in a bandoleer.
The AP indicates the gunman was dressed in all black and that of the six persons injured, “a lot of them were able to walk off the ambulance.”
