Not long ago liberals were attacking conservatives for sending fundraising letters about the failures of the Obama administration that led to the terror attacks that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya in 2012. But now liberals are fundraising off the fact that conservatives are fundraising off Benghazi.

The left-wing advocacy group, People for the American Way, sent a recent letter to fans asking for donations to help them fight the Republican’s “phony Benghazi ‘scandal.'”

The liberal fundraising letter went on to say, “renew your membership with a donation today and help our work to expose the Right’s lies and shut down the Tea Party!”

However, only days ago liberals were attacking those on the right for fundraising off Benghazi.

Just to name a few liberals who indulged their moral outrage, on May 7, Josh Earnest the Principal Deputy Press Secretary and Chief of Staff in the White House Communications Office, said that Republicans urging their supporters to help them with the Benghazi investigation was proof that the whole investigation was “politically motivated.”

Also on May 7, the far left-wing website Think Progress attacked Republicans for fundraising off Benghazi.

“Thus, the reality is that for Republicans and their right-wing media and Tea Party allies, the Benghazi tragedy that resulted in four Americans and a U.S. Ambassador being killed is at this point nothing more than a way to raise money,” the left-wing site wrote.

The next day, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Steve Israel slammed Republicans saying, ” Fundraising off the Benghazi tragedy is despicable and insulting and has no place in the national conversation.”

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough also criticized Republicans for the move.

Now that a major left-wing group is also using Benghazi to raise funds, will these same liberals be filled with righteous indignation?
