Jay Carney on Retirement Plans: 'I'm Not Headed to Russia'

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney dismissed rumors that he might seek the job of United States Ambassador to Russia after announcing his retirement from the White House.

On Friday, Carney joked that he was considering managing his son’s band, which he described as “on the verge of taking off.”

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning, Carney explained that he had a “lot of fun” working in the White House for President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.
