West Palm Beach Homeowner Shoots and Kills Burglary Suspect

In the early morning hours of June 3, a West Palm Beach homeowner shot and killed one of two burglary suspects he discovered “allegedly trying to break into a car” on the street outside his home.

According to CBS 12 Newspolice arrived to find the body of 31-year-old Aaron F. Bayliss. His accomplice was not captured and is still on the loose.

The alleged burglary was on Arlington Road, where there were seven or eight vehicle break-ins on that one night.

Police did not say whether Bayliss and the second suspect were tied to the other burglaries on Arlington Road that night, but they did “say all of the break-ins have the same characteristics.”
