Report: Four Illegals Turned Away from Murrieta Hospitalized with Scabies, Fever

At least four illegal immigrants who were on buses to Murrieta, California, have been hospitalized with such illnesses as scabies.

After protesters stopped the buses full of illegal immigrants from Central America on Tuesday, the federal government eventually sent the buses to Chula Vista, California, where they were screened and hospitalized.

According to The Press-Enterprise, Border Patrol officials revealed at a Wednesday evening town hall that “at least four passengers were hospitalized, two with scabies and two with fever.”

Dr. Cameron Kaiser, Public Health officer for County of Riverside, said that “clearly the risk is not zero” of contagious diseases from illegal immigrants who are flooding across the border from Central America. He then stated that he thought people should not panic yet.

As Breitbart News reported, there have been at least two cases of swine flu confirmed among illegal immigrants, and Border Patrol agents have said that illegal immigrant youths are being screened “for lice, scabies and chicken pox,” and “not everyone gets medical clearance.”

Breitbart’s Dr. Susan Berry has also reported “that medical specialists and doctors are concerned about other virulent diseases like tuberculosis and the Norovirus” that illegal immigrants are carrying across the United States-Mexico border.

Dr. Jane Orient, “an internal medicine specialist and the Executive Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS),” said the country is “one outbreak” away from “an overwhelming public health crisis.”
