Obama Hails Religious Freedom at White House Iftar Dinner

President Obama held an Iftar dinner at the White House yesterday, honoring Muslims celebrating the end of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.

During his speech, Obama spoke about the importance of religious freedom.

Obama explained that in America, no faith should ever be targeted or disparaged for their beliefs.

The White House guest list included elected officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and religious and grassroots leaders in the Muslim American community.

Obama also addressed the conflict between Israel and Palestine during his remarks.
