U.S. Debt Has Increased $7,619,753,991.33 Since Obama Went on Vacation

U.S. debt has increased over $7.6 billion since President Barack Obama departed last Saturday for his two-week luxury vacation at Martha’s Vineyard. 

According to the Treasury Department, U.S. debt total debt stood at $17,672,734,489,595.15 prior to his departure. As of August 12 (the most recent date for which data are available), U.S. debt was $17,680,354,243,586.48, an increase of $7,619,753,991.33. 

Obama is staying in the $12 million, 17-room Martha’s Vineyard mansion of Democratic Party donor Joanna Hubschman. 

Obama has declared income inequality “the defining challenge of our time.”
