Oklahoma City Satanists to Return Consecrated Host to Church

Wednesday, the law firm of Busch & Caspino, located in Irvine, California, south of Los Angeles, in association with an Oklahoma firm, filed suit in Oklahoma City District Court against convicted sex offender Adam Daniels and the Dahkma of Angra Mainyu, organizers of a satanic “black mass” scheduled to take place on Sept. 21 at the taxpayer-funded Oklahoma Civic Center Music Hall.

As reported by Breitbart News, the suit sought the safe return of a Consecrated Host – a communion wafer that, in Catholic doctrine, undergoes transubstantiation at the hands of a priest to become the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ – Daniels claimed to have received via mail from an unknown person.

Citing property-law statutes, along with Church law and tradition, the suit stated that all Consecrated Hosts are the property of the Catholic Church and that one could only be removed by an unauthorized person via theft or fraud.

Thursday, Daniels agreed to return the illicitly obtained Host to Archbishop Paul Coakley, head of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and the highest local Catholic authority.

In a statement, firm CEO and partner Michael Caspino said, “Today, Daniels agreed to return this sacred property. We stared down the devil and he blinked. We had no doubt the Court would respect our argument – rooted in both Canon and civil law – which maintains that all Consecrated Hosts belong to the Church.

“This is a tremendous victory for decency and respect for all religions. Any time anyone tries to desecrate this blessed property, we will stop them.”

Caspino continued, “A key part of the black mass is to desecrate or destroy a Consecrated Host. Without this sacred property, a black mass has absolutely no significance, so the group will not be able to hold its satanic ritual as planned.”

As he told Breitbart News Wednesday, Caspino did not seek to have the event – protected under the First Amendment – canceled, but merely to have the Church’s property returned.

His statement concluded, “In the eyes of both civil and Church law, however, Daniels’ group does not have the right to make use of stolen property.”
