Poll: Majority of Americans View Obama as a Divider, Not a Uniter

Americans are increasingly viewing President Obama as a divider, not a uniter, according to a new ABC/Washington Post poll.

According to the poll, 55 percent of Americans believe that Obama has done more to divide the country than unite it. That’s a ten-point increase from a similar poll in May that showed only 45 percent saw Obama as a divider.

Only 38 percent believe that the President has done more to unite the country, while seven percent offer no opinion.
