Woman Beaten by Gang of Teen Girls in New York Subway

A woman was beaten unconscious on the subway in Brooklyn by a gang of up to four teenage girls whom she had admonished to quit using foul language in front of children.

The 21-year-old woman, who goes by the name “Amanda,” told CBS New York that she tried to get a gang of teen girls to stop with their loud and profane conversation because there were children present.

“I said, ‘You guys should be more respectful for your age. There’s a bunch of children on the train right here, and that’s unacceptable,'” Amanda said.

But the teens started screaming, “who the f**k are you?” and began to push and hit her, forcing the woman to the floor of the train.

Once the train stopped, the girls pushed Amanda off the train and began to beat and kick her, until she briefly went unconscious.

When Amanda awoke, a man was trying to pry the teen girls away from kicking the fallen woman.

“I’ve never been hit like that,” Amanda said. “It was surreal. I thought I was going to die… I didn’t think they were going to jump me.”

The attack left Amanda with a concussion and several bruises and contusions.

Amanda said that the girls were loudly boasting that they had just come from a fight with other girls, and she felt that they were trying to intimidate the passengers on the train.

“I was just like, ‘That’s not right guys, you can’t curse in front of children. Be more respectful,'” Amanda said.

So far, only one 14-year-old girl has been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Amanda promised to mind her own business from now on, despite how badly anyone is acting.

“I think it’s a new generation now, where kids are out of control and do what they want,” she said.

This isn’t the first time a gang of teen girls attacked a subway passenger. In January, a gang of up to 20 teen girls attacked a woman who got in a confrontation with one of them.

One of the girls later took to social media and boasted of her part in the attack.
