Major Event for Black Conservatives in Connecticut

Major Event for Black Conservatives in Connecticut

The organization CT Black Republicans and Conservatives is holding a major event on Saturday, October 11 at the West Hartford Conference Center.

The cocktail reception/fundraiser is designed to raise funds so that the group can target urban neighborhoods for the November 4 election, neighborhoods that usually are ignored by larger campaigns. Some of the speakers include former Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, Dean Nelson, founder and director of the journalism program at Point Loma Nazarene University, radio host Wayne Dupree, Garland Hurt, and Breitbart’s own Sonnie Johnson.

Asked about the event, the outspoken Johnson attested, “Times are changing in the conservative movement. More voices are being heard, especially young conservative black voices. We don’t care about blame. We care about solutions. We care about people and communities. Saturday, we Change the Game and the conversation toward economic independence, limited government, and true freedom!”
