Dick Morris: 'Panetta is Doing a Hit–a Contract Killing–for Hillary'

Former Bill Clinton strategist Dick Morris says former Obama Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s latest book, Worthy Fights, is part of a coordinated strategy to set Hillary Clinton up for success come the 2016 presidential race.

“I think Hillary put him up to it,” Morris said on the John Catsimatidis radio show on New York’s 970 AM. 

“What Panetta is doing is a hit–a contract killing–for Hillary. Panetta at core is a Clinton person, not an Obama person,” said Morris. 

He added, “By accurately and truthfully describing the deliberations in the [Obama] cabinet, he makes Hillary look better, and he makes Obama look worse…And I think he’ll get his reward in heaven.”
