Poll: Americans Feel Obama Admin Should be Doing More to Fight Ebola

A new poll finds that Americans are unsatisfied with President Obama’s response to the Ebola crisis that is now hitting U.S. shores, and they feel that America could be doing more.

A Washington Post/ABC News poll conducted last week found that forty-three percent of those surveyed said that they disapprove of how Obama is handling America’s response to Ebola.

On the same question, only 41 percent felt Obama was doing well on the matter, with 16 percent saying they weren’t sure.

Those who feel that the US is “doing all it reasonably can to try to prevent further cases of Ebola” fell to only 33 percent, while 64 percent said the government is not doing all it can.

One of the more lopsided findings is over whether or not the government should shut down travel from countries suffering outbreaks of the deadly virus, with 91 percent supporting travel bans from Africa.
